Personal, self-hosted mail bridge

Gmail EAS Bridge Prototype

This project lets its owner use a personal Gmail account in the built-in Apple Mail app on iPhone and iPad through an Exchange ActiveSync-compatible bridge.

What it does

The bridge connects to Gmail through Google's OAuth authorization, Gmail IMAP, and Gmail SMTP. It makes messages available to the owner's Apple Mail devices, synchronizes read status and mailbox actions, and sends messages initiated by the owner. Gmail remains the source of truth.

The bridge is self-hosted on the owner's private server and is reachable by devices only through a private Tailscale network. This public site describes the application; it does not provide access to the bridge or process Gmail messages.

Who may use it

This is a personal-use application for its owner. It does not offer public account registration or a hosted mail service for others.
